Ustadha Badia is of great renown and has been a Qur’ān reading, pronunciation, and memorization teacher across Southern California for over 25 years. She has received ijāzahs (permission to teach) from Shaykh Khālid Barakāt, Shaykh Muḥammad Yūnus al-Ghalbān, and Shaykh Miṣbāḥ Ibrāhīm Widn, with the shortest sanad in the world, among others.
